Who are we ?

MM Video is a website created in 2004.

It is dedicated to multimedia: video, slide shows, photo galleries but also travel notes and musics from all over the world. Since January 2009, MM Video sells DVDs realized by Michel Malochet.

Michel Malochet is the webmaster of MM Video and at the origin of all the realizations presented on MM Video.

Michel Malochet has always been passionate about photography:
- student, he animates photo-clubs, creates a black and white lab and makes his first slide shows...
- then realizes numerous slide shows with synchronized soundtrack, kind of real reports on various countries.

The joint arrival of the digital technology and... retirement is the perfect opportunity to adopt digital video. Indeed photography is not abandoned: photo and video are in fact complementary and not competitive supports.

In 2004, he equips himself with a first digital camera which allows him to learn video and to make its first steps. Michel is going to shoot his first movies, dedicated to the discovery of various countries: a first movie is devoted to Marrakech; then the 2nd to Tunisia with, as a virtual clue, the search for places frequented 40 years earlier during a first stay in this country within the framework of cooperation. Then, next films are devoted to the islands of St Martin and St Barthélémy, Russia (Moscow and St Petersburg), the Reunion island and to the Peru.

We are at the end of 2007: Michel Malochet's realizations are now limited by his video equipment: it is necessary to change category and to invest in a pro-equipment to be able to develop the quality of the realized movies.

So, MM Video buys a camera Sony HVR-V1e, report microphone and helmet, new high-end computer with pro-software for video editing and DVD authoring. Henceforth, Michel Malochet is to realize higher quality reports by improving in particular comments and sound track; films are shooted in HDV what allows to edit them both in DVD and Blu-Ray.
Successively, MM Video is going to publish 3 movies dedicated to Tanzania, Vietnam and Cambodia.

At the same time, a critical development for MM Video:
Michel Malochet implements an "auto-entrepreneur" company on January 1st, 2009 and going into e-business creates an online web shop for selling his last DVDs parts of the collection:

Finally, in 2010, Michel Malochet is starting shooting full High Definition video with a camera Sony PMW-EX1; his first full HD movie is devoted to the Maldive Islands.
